Privacy Policy — Workout Exporter

Workout Exporter (“the app”), by Pack of Huskies Software, is designed so that your health information stays on your device and under your control. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.

Summary

• The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data.
• There are no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising or tracking of any kind.
• Your health data is read from Apple Health, processed on your device, and only leaves the device if you choose to export and share it.

Health data the app reads

With your permission, the app reads the following from Apple Health (HealthKit) solely to display your workouts and to build the files you export:

• Workouts (type, date, start/end time, duration)
• Active and basal energy (calories)
• Distance (walking/running, cycling, swimming, wheelchair)
• Heart rate (including aggregation into heart-rate zones)
• Date of birth (used only to calculate default age-based heart-rate zones; it is never stored or exported)

The app requests read-only access. It does not write any data to Apple Health.

How your data is used

• On-device display: Your workouts and metrics are shown within the app.
• Export: When you tap Export, the app creates a CSV or JSON file (inside a ZIP) in a temporary location on your device and presents the system share sheet. The exported file is sent only to the destination you choose (for example AirDrop, Mail, Messages, or Files). The app itself never receives a copy.

The app does not retain your health data after it is displayed; it is re-read from Apple Health each time you request it.

Data stored on your device

The app stores only your preferences locally (using the system settings store): your selected unit system and any custom heart-rate zone boundaries. These preferences contain no health data and never leave your device.

Data sharing

The app does not share any data with the developer or any third party. The only sharing that occurs is the export you explicitly initiate and direct.

Children’s privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Your control

You can grant or revoke the app’s access to Health data at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Workout Exporter (or within the Health app). Revoking access simply means the app can no longer read your workouts.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the same URL with a revised effective date.
